Caroline Wilson
Caroline Wilson has been the chief football writer for The Age since the start of the 1999 football season during which time she has been voted by the AFL Players Association as the football writer of the year (in 1999); and the AFL Media Association as the most outstanding football writer and most outstanding feature writer – first in 2000 and again in 2003 and 2005. She has also won the Melbourne Press Club Quill Awards (in 2003) and been highly commended four times.
She has worked in the UK and Europe where she covered four Wimbledons and three British Opens, the FA Cup final and the British soccer riots for the Melbourne Herald.
Currently, she comments on football for 3AW, Channel Nine’s Footy Classified and Channel Two’s The Offsiders having recently completed three years as a panellist for Channel 7′s Talking Footy.
