Trevor Marmalade
Trevor Marmalade began his professional career in comedy at the age of 19 after one try-out spot at the Last Laugh. Dubbed the ‘Joke Doctor’ Trevor also found a niche as an off-beat interviewer, tackling everyone from Robert Sangster to the world’s worst jockey.
With the emergence of The Comedy Company on Channel Ten, Marmalade was engaged as a writer and appeared in a couple of sketches. In 1991, Marmalade and funny buddy Russell Gilbert were hired by Hey Hey It’s Saturday as creative consultants. The following year, he joined forces with Eddie McGuire on radio. The pair created The Grill Team for Triple M.
Author of 3 books, Trevor continues to be a popular choice and is guaranteed to inspire laughter at any event you may have on your social calendar. You can see him Thursday nights “at the bar” on Channel 9′s logie award winning, The Footy Show.
